Ceasar Marine Cyprus has decided to spread out and setup in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Arriving with 3 Aquarius racing powerboats and two fully worked ex champion tohatsu engines, Ceasar Marine CY plan to setup as Extreme Marine NI.

Extreme Marine NI will specialise in providing all accessories, boats and engines to the ever growing world wide Thundercat Racing Series.

“We have already spoken in depth with the Thundercat guys in Youghal, Ireland. We will work together to build the race series and promote/advertise the Aquarius & Ceasar brands and expand our current membership”

The Thunderball in Cyprus was a great success and we now plan to set up a Thunderball from Northern Ireland to ROI. This event will probably take place in 2011 as we envisage it being huge with Thundercat teams coming from all over

Ceasar Marine in Cyprus where very happy with their result of finishing 1st in the first ever Thunderball Event in Cyprus. 4 Thundercat Poweboats started in Ayia Napa, Cyprus heading to Paphos in this race over 212km. On the first leg, we saw one pilot thrown from his boat and another boat deflated as the transom was damaged and came away from the PVC Hull. Stopping at the 1st refuelling stop, 2 Thundercat Powerboats had to retire and the Cypriot Ceasar Thundercat and the World Champions from the UK continued in their super fast Aquarius Thundercat. As the winds got stronger and the waves got bigger, both teams continued to battle the seas to Limassol where the race was cancelled as the safety boat could not go any further as the water was too big. Landing fist on the beach in the Ceasar F8 Thundercat was Mel Pengelly and Steve Richards both residents in Cyprus. Many thanks to Vee from Voom Voom & Microlink for sending the Aquarius Thundercat boats over with the Darren & Sam who also made this great event worth while.

We hope to see more Thundercat Powerboats Racing in the next Thunderball which is planned for April/May 2010

We have several teams from the UK coming to join us in the Thunderball event in 2 weeks time here in Cyprus. Apart from our Ceasar Thundercats, we will also be keeping a couple of the (Ferrari models) the Aquarius Thundercat. The Aquarius Thundercat Racing Boat is a lot harder ride and sharper in cornering giving the crew a much harder race but slightly better performance. The Aquarius Racing Boats are coming from the UK thanks to Fiona Pascoe and Vee Ganjavian owner of Microlink in the UK and organisers of Thundercat Racing in the UK.

The Ceasar Thundercat is more of a Bentley Turbo in this class of boats with a slight more give in the boats movements allowing a softer ride for the crew. It will be interesting to see how both boats perform on the day in the Cypriot Waters.

We look forward to welcoming the teams from the UK and inspecting the Aquarius Thundercat and experiencing its performance for myself.

The Perfect Partnership

Be honest Nothing looks more silly than pulling up into a petrol station to check the tire pressure on your Ferrari, Lamborghini or any supercar. Manufacturers say that your tire pressure should be checked on a weekly basis (no chance) where as Nitrogen needs to be checked every 2 to 3 MONTHS amongst many other advantages including fuel economy, tire efficiency, less road noise, smoother driving and many many more advantages, so here it is!

THE NITROGEN SOLUTION

50% off any car entered in the Thunder Ball Rally that means €30 that’s right just €30 to have all 4 tires vacuumed and re-filled with Nitrogen.

Visit the Toyo Tires stand for more details and advantages of Nitrogen.

The Toyo Tires van shall be following the rally all the way to Paphos incase of any emergency. Finally Toyo Tires and Prestige Cars would like to wish everyone a safe journey.

Maybe next year we will fill the Thundercat Powerboats with nitrogen to see if they will fly even more : )

Our plans are still going well, just not enough hours in the day. We have now sorted out the helicopter, nearly secured a large media group to cover the whole event and have camera crews lined up all waiting for the event. Organising the event is time consuming and not really giving me time to get fit and practice for the boat race side of things. These Thundercats Race Boats can take some controlling especially if the weather turns bad. We believe more and more people are now talking and betting on who is going to make to Corel Bay first – my money is still on the Thundercat Powerboats!!

We will see on the 7th November 2009
